26/365 Oregon Trip Day 5

This was the day that we were leaving Oregon. Now, this whole day was just a bunch of driving back home. This is how the day went. First of all, we had to wake up at 5 AM to pack all of our stuff and to pack them into our car. We did all of that, and then we said goodbye to the hotel, and started to drive away. For breakfast, we basically just got food from the hotel, like bagels, and granola bars. As we were driving, I didn’t know what to do, so I just played video games and listened to music. After that, we reached Crater Lake, and got to see the lake without any of the fog. We drove all the way to the top and got to see a lot of the lake. Turns out, there is a little island on Crater Lake that people call, “The Wizard Island”. I mean, I want to learn magic, and sure there is Hogwarts, but Wizard Island seems much cooler.

After that, we just kept on driving until we reached a place to eat lunch, and I got the best, most amazing and delicious food of all time…greek yogurt…strawberry flavor. Yeah, I didn’t feel that hungry but the yogurt was good. While we were driving, I soon became super tired and fell asleep, not 2 times, not 3 times, but 5 times, I think. I was really tired for waking up at 5 AM. My dog was the one that was pooped, she used my sister as a pillow to put her little head on, yes it was cute. After that, we decided to get some dinner, and we got Dosa from this restaurant called, “Saravana Bhavan”, the dosa was really good, and it went really well with the sambar. We reached home and freshened up and ate dinner, and now I am writing this blog post. Oregon was really fun and I enjoyed the nature that was in Oregon and that I had fun with my family. This is an official wrap up for the Oregon Trip.

25/365 Oregon Trip Day 4

This is the last day of the Oregon Trip and, you would think that we did a bunch of crazy things for the last day but, no it was the complete opposite. We all decided that we should relax since it was the last day of Oregon. But of course we decided to go get breakfast outside instead of in the hotel. We went to a cafe called, “Studio One Cafe”, which had very nice employees and amazing and delicious food. I just ended up getting chocolate pancakes and eating about half of it since it was so big. After that, we decided to go to a park, however when we went there, the park looked pretty dead and there wasn’t much you could do. So we ditched that park and decided to go to another one.

This park was pretty, and was very woodsy. When we went there, there were many people who were having picnics, but me and my family just did whatever we wanted to. There was even a swing set that I had a marvelous time on. We even got to see many dogs, and my dog had fun sniffing everything from the ground and the trees. But then, when she came back, we saw that she was super dirty. She was covered in dirt, grass, and something that my family and I thought was tree sap. We soon went back and I just hung out in the hotel with my dad and my dog. My sister and mom decided to go around the city and they soon came back…then they left to walk to the University of Oregon and now they just showed up. I have had a fun time in Oregon, and I am excited for our next vacation.

24/365 Oregon Trip Day 3

This day was filled with many events, so in this post, I will be telling you all the events. First off, a day hasn’t started without eating some French Toast with syrup. After that, my family, and I went to Portland where they had a massive bookstore, and there were many books, genres and choices, but the two times that we went in, we came out with nothing. But all of the books looked interesting, after that, we all felt very hungry so we went to eat at a restaurant called, “Screen Door”, and the food there was so delicious and the employees were very kind and nice. So I give it a 5 star rating…if I had Yelp.

After that delicious lunch, my mom and I were craving something sweet, so we decided to go and try a doughnut place called, “Voodoo Doughnut”. They had all sorts of options, like ones with M&Ms, sprinkles, and other yummy flavors and toppings. I chose just to get one with sprinkles, and my mom got a Coconut Guava Colada. They tasted really good and I also would give it a 5 star rating, if I had Yelp that is!!!!! After that, my family and I decided to go to the Rose Garden, and it was really pretty and beautiful. My dog Reyna was also having fun and smelling all of the flowers and seeing all of the people walking around. But one thing was that…it was hot, like really hot. Because of that, she laid on the dirt and roll around in the grass a lot.

Soon, after we went to the Rose Garden, we then went to the car and were on our way for Multnomah Falls. When we made it to the water fall sight, it was amazing, so beautiful and the way how it fell from the cliff into the pond was oddly satisfying in a weird way. We took a bunch of pictures and then it was time to head home. But first, let’s get some ice cream. We got some ice cream and coffee, then made our way to the gift shop, where we found two very cute magnets for Portland, and for Multnomah Falls. After that we headed home and we all were really tired from the excitement of going to many places. We ordered pizza, ate some, and freshened up. And now I am writing this post. I hope you guys liked this post and I bet tomorrow will be cooler, and I will keep you all updated.

23/365 Oregon Trip Day 2

This day was a casual day but stuff did happen. First of all, we all woke up and we were thinking of what we were going to do today. We decided to go to South Falls, which of course meant that we were going to see some water falls. I ate some pancakes for breakfast, and then started to get ready for the drive to South Falls. The drive to South Falls was really casual with nothing much happening. But we did see a lot of farms and little dust twisters. I was listening to a bunch of music and songs because there was no service.

While we were driving, we saw a bunch of Christmas Trees lined up, we passed an entire Christmas Tree farm and it looked amazing. Soon we made it to our destination. I was checking on what kind of animals you could find on the trail, and apparently, you could find owls, black bears, flying squirrels and songbirds. We found the map and decided to drive instead of walking our way to the waterfall. We went to the waterfall and it was really pretty and amazing. Then it was time to go back to the hotel. As we were driving, we saw more of those little dust tornados, that was when I was starting to wonder if there will be tornados around but there wasn’t any so that was a relief. We then went to get some lunch from McDonalds. Then we went home and I am writing this post. This post was short because we didn’t really do a lot for this day. Next day will be interesting, so I will keep you all updated.
