55/365 Helping my sister move in to her college house

College house? That’s a terrible name. But yes, my family helped my sister move into her new house for college. Going to the house was very challenging, now I know some of you guys are probably saying to yourself, “Rahi, that’s a bit overdramatic”. In my defense, it was the weathers’ fault. It was so hot that the AC in the car was so hot and when it got cold, I still felt like I was riding a car in the middle of the desert. So ride was going great! We decided to go to a sushi restaurant and the food was amazing. When we came to the house, we got greeted by some people and then my family started to build the bed. We also did some more exploring of the new house. We started making the bed and things were going well, we followed the instructions, we told a few jokes, I cried one time. And then we made the bed and decided that we all deserved some yummy, cold, sweet, scrumptious ice cream. What? Did I go too far? Anyway, we went to this one ice cream shop where it had amazing ice cream. I was reading out the ice cream flavors to my mom, but I guess I was too loud, that the man in front of us said, “I think we already read it”. I was so embarrassed because I wasn’t even talking to the man so yeah that happened. And I got Cookies & Cream ice cream with whipped cream and rainbow sprinkles. After that, we went home and I started to write my post that I posted yesterday, so you guys can check it out if you haven’t.

42/365 My sister is going away to college

My sister is soon gonna move away for college. Now, even though we have fights and arguments, I still will miss my sister. My sister is always my best friend, and we both still act like teenagers, I mean I’m a teenager, but, never mind. My sister is only moving to a place where it’s a 1 hour drive away, but even with her gone, I will miss talking to her and hanging out with her. And since she will be busy with school, I won’t be able to talk to her. We always have fun together and I don’t want to be the only sibling at home. When she goes to college, I won’t have anyone who can play or talk to, I mean I have my parents, which is also cool, but, I just feel like my sister is kinda like me and I won’t be able to talk to her. I know, I know, she isn’t dying, but we have hung out and had so much fun together, I just am really going to miss those times. If you have an older sibling that is going or is in college and they have to move, you might also feel sad since you and your sibling will be far apart. I have heard this from many videos and people who will say that even though you’re both far apart, that distance will keep you closer. I don’t know if that’s actually true, since it hasn’t happened for me yet, but I still believe it.

6/365 My Santa Cruz Trip

My sister is going to leave for college soon and we wanted to see the house that she would be staying at. So we all went to Santa Cruz to see the house. The drive to Santa Cruz was long so I listened to a lot of songs on my phone. When we got to Santa Cruz, we all felt hungry so we all wanted to decide on where to eat, which was really hard because some of them were already closed. We soon went to a nice and delicious bbq shack. The food was really good and I really enjoyed. After that, we went to my sister’s new house for college. It looks really new and nice. After sometime, we all felt hot and we decided to get some yummy ice cream. The ice cream was really tasty since it was made in real farms. The Santa Cruz Trip was amazing and it was fun to see the campus of the college that my sister will soon go to. Santa Cruz is super beautiful and it was cool to walk around Santa Cruz and see all of cool stores they had. I will like to go to Santa Cruz again, I totally recommend it.
