We all have seen cartoons when we were young. Some of us might’ve seen older cartoons and might only have vague memories of it. There were definitely times where I would remember old cartoons from when I was like 5 to 7 and it would be nice to rewatch and remember all of the good times I had watching them. For the longest time, I have always had a love for animation and cartoons. I will always talk about cartoons and how the animation is so smooth. One time, one of my friends showed me a YouTube animator named TheOdd1sOut, and I loved their animation and their story telling. Turns out this is actually an entire community on YouTube called the, “Animation Community”. I have been following and watching the animation community for so long. There are many animators like Jaiden Animations, Let Me Explain Studios and much more.
After watching the animation community for a year or so, I wanted to see if I could try out animation. I have seen that people around my age were also posting very smooth animations. So I really wanted to try it out. Since I was just starting out, I downloaded an app called Flipaclip. Now this app is said to be one of the easiest, relaxed, most calm animation app to be using. But my animations still look really blocky and choppy. I have tried to smoothen out animations but I had to add more frames and that is always a time consuming thing. I already have one animation out on my YouTube channel which you can see. I have been doing animation for probably almost a year and I am still not perfect, but that’s ok, because to get better at something you have to keep on practicing. You failed a math test, keep practicing how to find the answer to x. You burnt your food, then keep practicing techniques like setting the stove temperature lower. You didn’t do your taxes, then…actually I don’t know what to do, I’ve never done taxes. But you can learn from your mistakes and strive to get better.
Animations make things easy to understand as well. Explainer videos are great examples. Then there’s a YT Channel named BISBO where they animate news, and it suddenly becomes interesting to watch and understand. My kid, Amna does some animations for a NGO named “Operation Smile”.
