Something that you guys should know about me is that I am a big dog lover. If you tell me that you have a dog, I would turn into a kid who was given all the candy in the world, I would be so happy. I have always wanted a dog ever since I was 4, and I wasn’t the only one. My sister also really wanted a dog and we kept on pleading to our parents to get us a dog. My sister and I were really determined that we would get a dog. And because of our constant pleading, our parents got us fish. Soon the fish passed away and my pleading continued. My sister was staying out of the pleading but we both still wanted a dog. There were times where we would look at dog breeds and see which ones we would want. We each wanted to find a breed that we all loved, and my sister wanted a greyhound, and my mom wanted a german shepherd. I didn’t care which breed of dog it was, I just wanted a dog right now!
There would be times where I would think we were getting a dog but then we wouldn’t. This one time, my grandma was staying over at my house and my dad found a german shepherd puppy and said that we might get that puppy. Of course, my sister and I were over the moon when we heard that, but my grandma at the time didn’t like small dogs or puppies so she was freaked out, so we ended up not getting the puppy but it was ok. We would also go to shelters and look at all the dogs and I would tell all my friends that I might be getting a dog. Then, it happened, on May 29th 2016, my family decided to adopt a furry friend to be part of the family. We went to the shelter and looked at all of the dogs, we found a dog who was 5 years old and is a mix of cocker spaniel and golden retriever.
My family and I fell in love with her and we decided to adopt her. When we adopted her, she was super happy and very excited. Our dog’s name was already picked so we kept her name that way which is “Reyna”. She is a rescue dog and she is now 11 years old in human years and she is living happily with us and she is living the luxury. I swear, dogs get to live like they are rich.

We too love dogs, but unfortunately we have allergic issues. This year, I really tried to get a Maltese for Amna’s birthday even though they are quite expensive to buy as I heard they are hypoallergenic pets. However, the guy at the pet store said that being hypoallergenic does noylt guarantee that we won’t have allergies, especially because we live in a flat and can’t keep the dog out. So I gave up the plan.
