Before that a bit of Backstory
I first started performing as a ventriloquist in my middle school which was also when the ventriloquist bug first bit me. I started learning it by watching Darcy Lin on YouTube. Then I went to my mom and said I needed a puppet. I could have gone to my dad, but mom’s are easy to explain and they tend to listen better. And my mom got me Sam. Yes, my mom and dad don’t need to ask each other to make a decision. They can chose to, but that is up to them.
So I get Sam and my dad even now says that if I had asked him, he would not have bought it, because he did not even know that there was a word called ventriloquism. Well now he knows. He has a ventriloquist in the family that he can boast about. And he does.
As I showed this to my teacher in middle school she said, why don’t you teach others. And we started a small ventriloquism club. Then covid hit and we were all at home and by the time we were back in school, I was in high school and I started engaging in theater.
Why am I doing this?
I turned 18 this year and have been admitted for theater major in a few places. I still need to pick where I will go. The only thing I know is I am going to be in SF Bay area. Then the idea came to my mind “why don’t I grow my ventriloquism to a side gig”. This could also help in my college expenses. If you don’t know going to college is expensive.

A Ventriloquist can be a unique addition to any kind of event. Birthdays, family get togethers, Non profit events, club events and more. I have been to many gatherings and never saw a ventriloquist. Why not try it. I have performed for small kids, teens and adults (adults older than me, I have to sometimes remind myself that I am technically an adult now). My content is also tailored to the occasion.
You will have a chance to pay more than what I charge and you will also have a chance to not pay me if you think my work is not well. My dad says we should always improve in creating value.
