131/365 Finally Getting My Permit!

You heard here folks! I finally got my permit for driving. Now, I know many people maybe thinking, “Hold on, I thought you were 17, why do you have your permit now?” And for that I say, “sit down and let me take you on a journey of my completely stressed out timeline of drivers ed.” When I was about 15 1/2 years old, my dad signed me up for the drivers ed course online, which basically just made me read some long passages, watch videos about traffic laws and do some practice quizzes. This entire thing by itself took the entire summer of my freshman year.

After I was finally done with that, I had to start studying for the permit test which was very inconsistent. For the permit tests in America, you’re only allowed to get 8 of the questions wrong or an 83% in order to pass, I kept that in mind and went to take my test. The first time I took my permit test I was counting all of the questions that I got wrong, thinking that I got most of them right, I got 10 wrong which was a failing grade. It’s fine, at least theres’ chance #2! 2nd time comes, I go to the test room and I am checking all my answers when I got 9 wrong. After I got 9 questions wrong I knew I already failed so for the rest of the questions I didn’t even try and just guessed them. Well that sucked and now we go to the last chance I had which was the third time if you’ve been counting.

I went there feeling confident but very scared. If I didn’t pass this test, I could take it again, but I would have to pay a fee which no one wants to do that. I went, answered my test turned it in and it said I passed. When I tell you I was so happy I was trying not to scream. So yeah I got my permit, and now I’m practicing driving. Speaking of which I should probably get ready to get on the road. See you guys later.
